February is a great month to roll out some new promotions within your business. Not only is it American Heart Health month, but there are some great holidays, events and “national days” that can help you easily come up with creative ideas. Valentine’s Day
Valentine’s Day is the first holiday to cross people’s minds when February is mentioned. Be prepared with what you want to promote, and make sure you are marketing to the right people. Target spouses to get your product as a gift for their loved one. Or, draw in parents with cute promos for Valentine’s items for the kids. When played right, you can even convince people to purchase Valentine’s gifts for their pets!

Groundhog Day
Be ready for the Groundhog’s predictions and have promos ready. “Six more weeks of winter means 10% off all snow shovels today!” or “15% off all outdoor furniture today only! Groundhog predicts spring is coming soon, so don’t miss out!”

Super Bowl
If your hometown team is playing, get into the spirit of things! Decorate your office/store, post pictures of staff in spiritwear and offer amazing deals if the team wins.

Academy and Grammy Awards
Awards season. Think red carpet and glamour. How can you tie that into your business? This would be a great theme for beauty salons and clothing retailers!

President’s Day
President’s Day weekend is one of the most popular times for sales. Make sure you’re on board so you can compete with everyone else!

Mardi Gras
While we would not advise getting risqué, there are lots of things you can do. You can get beads very inexpensively, so give them out to your customers and clients! Promote a masquerade theme for the day. Have fun with it!
